Jaime is one of the most experienced professionals in organic and sustainable agriculture research and development in Latin America. He served as the Director of Genetic Improvement of Jatropha Curcas for the company SGBiofuels. His experience in organic agriculture was consolidated in the company UNIESPECIES of Guatemala. He was responsible for designing and implementing organic crops for export purposes to the United States and Europe. As Regional Coordinator of the Research and Development department for Latin America with Grupo ENLASA, he technically developed different products (fertilizers and pesticides) in various countries, with other climatic conditions and crops. His experience as a researcher and developing products has served to create and strengthen the TrueNatural business model.

Jaime holds a Master’s degree in Plant Sciences in Plant Physiology from the Austral University of Chile and a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the Rafael Landívar University of Guatemala. Jaime is usually a speaker in different lectures on organic and sustainable agriculture in various Latin American countries.
